ACE søker arkitekt til sekretariatet i Brüssel
Architects Council of Europe søker prosjektleder med arkitektfaglig bakgrunn til arbeidet med EU-prosjekter. Kontrakten vil ha en varighet på 10 måneder med mulighet for forlengelse.
Full Description:
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified architect holding a University level degree equivalent to a qualification listed in Annexe V.7 of the EU Directive on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (2005/36/EC) and fully eligible to live and work in the EU. He or she will be fluent in both English and French and will be highly competent in writing in English. He or she will also be fully conversant with information and communication technology including new media and interactive means of working. At a minimum this will include proficiency in the word processing, number processing, presentation programmes and web-based research and work.
He or she will have a good knowledge of international environmental assessment methodologies such as LEED, BREEAM and DGNB. It will be an advantage if he or she has experience of sustainable design of buildings at both the design stage and/or during the use phase.
At the present time the duration of the contract is likely to be 10 months with the possibility of an extension for a second period of 10 months.
The successful candidate will work on EU-Funded Projects in which the ACE is a partner and will be responsible for the technical input required of the ACE in those projects. It is likely that the post will require a limited number of business assignments abroad. The successful candidate will be under the direction of the Director of the ACE, will report directly to him and must be ready to assist in addition duties as the need arises.
